Unit Seventeen / Exhibition

Unit Seventeen is an exhibition ran by 9 Creative Art Practice students at the Forum Arcade on Devonshire Street, Sheffield in unit 17. This exhibition is ran by my fellow students, so I was really excited to see what they had achieved. The exhibition was fantastic, every single detail has been organised, it had been curated so well in a really fantastic venue and the artwork involved was very impressive. All the works were diverse; there was no theme to the exhibition but it’s of a really professional standard. I attended the opening night of this exhibition and they offered free food, which was a really nice touch – very concious of the opening time (6:00-9:00) and the attendees.

Overall it was a really impressive exhibition and so great to see friends succeed; the venue was never empty and it was clear a lot of effort had been put into organising the exhibition.

Unit Seventeen is running from now until 24th April.
